2025 July Pool Works Membership Suspension Application

Upcoming Pool Works

Essential works are being carried out in the pool hall from Monday 7 July and will take approximately 20 days. For the duration of the works in the indoor pool hall and the facilities contained within (such as Indoor 25m pool, Leisure pool, spa, steam room, Program pool, cafe, changerooms, toilets and showers) will not be accessible. 

The 50m pool will remain open, there are toilets but no showers or changerooms available, for the works and members are welcome to continue to use the pool. Access to the 50m pool will be via the side entrance closest to the grassed parking area. Gym, creche and non-aquatics group fitness classes will continue unaffected and access via the main entrance. 

Should any All Access members wish to suspend their membership for the duration of these works they can do so by completing and submitting the below application. Once received, actioned and confirmed the membership will be suspended from the 7 July 2025 until the Indoor Pool Hall reopens, the duration of which will not count towards the annual 60 day suspension days allowance. 

Terms and Conditions
  • Members need to complete a Suspension Application Form and submit to Aqualife or Leisurelife staff before 5pm Tuesday 1 July 2025. 
  • The Suspension Applications received after 5pm Tuesday 1 July 2025 will have their suspension begin from the following Monday. 
  • A tentative return from suspension date of Monday 28 July will be applied to membership accounts suspended via this application. 
  • The suspension will remain in place for the full duration of the works, early return requests will be treated like a standard suspension and suspended days will count towards the members 60 day annual limit. 
  • If a member requests to return early from the suspension they will be required to pay any resulting outstanding fees before they are permitted to use the facilities. 
  • An initial suspension period of 20 days will be applied to membership accounts that suspend via this application. If in the event, due to unforeseen circumstances, the works last longer than 20 days the value of the additional days will be credited towards the next months direct debit payment. 

Members requesting suspension of Upfront Membership

  • Where membership is put on hold (suspended), the expiry date of the upfront membership is extended by a number of days equivalent to the suspension period.
