Xplor How-to-Guide for Swimming Lessons

Our pre-school program begins with introductory skills such as submersion and floating and continues through the progressions all the way to skills such as independent basic freestyle and introductory backstroke.

Classes are capped at 4 students so we can ensure your swimmer has adequate supervision and assistance to reach their full potential.

Change Class Level or Time

In this stage your child will learn to work with the instructor independently and be introduced to basic water familiarisation and confidence building skills such as submersion and floating.

If your child has participated in our infant program this will be their next stage after Swan and no assessment is needed. If your child has never participated in lessons before you do not need an assessment you are welcome to enroll this class.

Adding Finance Details

Needing to update you finance details on your account?

Once you have logged in select your profile and scroll down to find the Finance Info section, select the "+ New" buttion.

Once new finance info has been added and saved, please email swim@vicpark.wa.gov.au so you finance info can be attached to your transaction.

In this stage your child will start to learn independent basic freestyle arm and extend their independence and stroke ability on their back.

As this stage has prerequisite skills, if your child has not had an assessment and been instructed to move to this stage or if you are a new student from another swim school please book a free new student assessment.
